The Ottawa Senators will play the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. Ottawa has alternated wins and losses over their last six games, while Montreal has lost two games in a row. Let’s take a look at the betting matchup and the Senators vs Canadiens prediction.

The Ottawa Senators are 17-24-1 this year after they defeated the Flyers by a score of 5-3 in their last game. The projected starting goalie for Ottawa is Joonas Korpisalo, who is 9-15-1 this year with a 3.56 goals against average and a .887 save percentage.

The Montreal Canadiens are 19-20-7 this season after they lost to Boston by a score of 9-4 in their last game. Montreal tied the game at three in the second period, but allowed Boston to score six of the last seven goals in the loss. The Canadiens were out shot by a total of 36-21 and went 2-3 on the power play in the game. Senators vs Canadiens Betting Prediction

Both of these teams have struggled in the first half of the season, but Montreal is currently 10 points better than Ottawa. The Senators had a very nice comeback win against the Flyers in their last game, but they are only 5-13-0 on the road this season. Montreal has allowed 15 goals in their last two games and they are 9-11-3 on the road. Both teams are allowing way too many goals this season on defense, but I am going to go with Ottawa in this game. The Senators are the better offensive team and just beat Montreal 6-2 on January 18th. Take Ottawa here.
