It’s a lighter slate of games across the NHL with only six games taking place but there is still plenty of value across the board. There were originally 10 games scheduled but four have been postponed because of COVID. Let’s get you some winners for Saturday’s slate.
Ottawa Senators +140 at Philadelphia Flyers -161 Total: 6
These are both teams who aren’t great offensive teams, and that is going to continue in this game. The Senators are averaging only 2.78 goals per game while the Flyers are averaging 2.61 goals per game. I especially expect the Senators are going to struggle, and this game is going to stay under the total.

Los Angeles Kings +130 at Carolina Hurricanes -149 Total: 5.5
The Hurricanes are dealing with some COVID issues, but even with that being a problem, they are going to find success in this game. The Hurricanes have won five of their last six games, and in the last game against the Detroit Red Wings they put up five goals. The Kings are averaging only 2.67 goals per game and their lack of scoring is going to let them down in this game. Back the Hurricanes on the money line.
Play: Hurricanes ML -149
Toronto Maple Leafs -135 at Vancouver Canucks +115 Total: 6
This Canucks team made a coaching change, and now all of a sudden they're playing some really strong hockey. Vancouver has won five games in a row and over the last two games, they have scored nine goals total. Even against a good defensive team with the Maple Leafs, Vancouver is going to find offensive success. The Canucks should be closer to +100 and they are a great value sitting at +115. Back Vancouver to win this game on the money line.
Play: Canucks ML+115
New Jersey Devils +115 at Detroit Red Wings -135 Total: 6
The New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings are both going to struggle to score, and that is going to lead to a lower-scoring game. The Devils are averaging only 2.75 goals per game while the Red Wings are averaging 2.73 goals per game. Even though both defenses aren’t great, I expect it will be both offenses that will struggle. Back the under.
Play: Under
Chicago Blackhawks at Dallas Stars
The Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars both are weak offensive teams, and that will lead to a lower scoring game. The Blackhawks are averaging only 2.29 goals per game while the Stars are averaging only 2.65 goals per game. Both teams are going to struggle to have good scoring chances, and the under will cash.
Play: Under
Edmonton Oilers at Seattle Kraken
The Edmonton Oilers are going to have no issues against the Seattle Kraken. The Oilers are averaging 3.58 goals per game, and they will run up the score against Seattle with ease. Seattle is giving up 3.517 goals per game. The Oilers are going to score at least four goals, and they will win the game on the puck line.
Play: Oilers -1.5
