It’s a lighter slate of games across the NHL on Monday with only six games taking place but there is still plenty of value across the board. Let’s take a free pick on each of the games to make your Monday a winning one.
Colorado Avalanche at Philadelphia Flyers
The Colorado Avalanche have the top offense in the NHL while the Flyers have one of the worst. The Avs are averaging 4.0 goals per game while the FLyers are averaging 2.38 goals per game. Even on the road, the Avs offense is going to find success again. The Flyers won’t keep up and the visiting team will win on the money line.

Anaheim Ducks at Washington Capitals
The Ducks and Capitals both have strong offenses. The Ducks are averaging 3.32 goals per game while the Capitals are averaging. The real advantage for the Capitals in this game though is with the defense that is giving up only 2.44 goals per game. The Capitals defense is going to be too much for the Ducks and the home team will win on the puck line.

Ottawa Senators +165 at New Jersey Devils -185 Total: 6
The Senators and Devils have both struggled to start the season. The biggest issue for both of these teams has been scoring goals, but this is a great chance for the Senators to pull the upset. The Senators offense has been better as of late, and they are going to continue that success in this game. Back the Senators to pull the upset.

Arizona Coyotes +238 at Dallas Stars -288 Total: 5.5
The Coyotes and Stars are both going to struggle to score in this game. Arizona is averaging only 1.79 goals per game while the Stars are averaging 2.81 goals per game. The Coyotes very well could be shutout in this game, and the under is going to cash. Back the under.

Los Angeles Kings +115 at Vancouver Canucks -135 Total: 5.5
At home this season the Vancouver Canucks have really struggled sitting with a 3-7-1 record and they are going to have issues again in this game. These offenses are similar, but the Canucks defense has been awful giving up 3.16 goals per game. The Kings are going to find offensive success and the Kings will win this game.

Pittsburgh Penguins -135 at Seattle Kraken +115 Total: 6
The Kraken have been playing better hockey as of late winning three of their last four games. In the last game against the Oilers the offense scored four goals. The Penguins offense hasn’t been great this year averaging 2.83 goals per game and their lack of scoring will hurt them. Back the Kraken on the money line.
