It’s a light slate of games on Friday across the NHL with only two games taking place. Let’s take a look at each of the games and give you a free pick winner.
Winnipeg Jets -120 at Vancouver Canucks +100 Total: 6
The Winnipeg Jets are playing some really good hockey coming into this game having won three games in a row. Over that three-game stretch the Jets have scored 12 goals total while they have given up only five goals. In the last game against a very good Edmonton Oilers team, the offense put up five goals. The Jets overall this season are averaging 3.33 goals while the defense is giving up 2.6 goals per game. Both of those are top ten in the NHL. The Canucks have had some struggles this season and the offense and defense have both been awful. Vancouver is averaging 2.48 goals per game while they are giving up 3.41 goals per game. The Jets offense is going to have a big game again in this one, and that will be the difference in this game. The Winnipeg Jets are going to attack the weak defense of the Canucks and this one will be over early. Back the Canucks on the puck line.
Play: Canucks -1.5.
Colorado Avalanche -155 at Seattle Kraken +135 Total: 6.5
The Colorado Avalanche hasn’t been great this season, but the good news is they are facing a terrible Seattle Kraken team. In Seattle’s last game against the Chicago Blackhawks they gave up four goals, and that led to a loss on the puck line. Colorado is averaging 3.54 goals per game while Seattle is averaging 2.76 goals per game. Seattle is also allowing 25.6 goals per game which is actually the best in the NHL, so it’s so concerning that they have struggled to win games. The Avs are going to have no issue running up the score and winning this game on the money line.
