Pittsburgh is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a win and 7-2 in their last 9 games overall while the over is 4-0 in the road games. New Jersey is 8-20 in their last 28 games overall and 17-38 in their last 55 home games while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 Sunday games. The road team is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
These two teams simply don’t like each other, and say what you want about the Devils and how bad they’ve been at times this season, but they’ve battled the Penguins hard so far this season and it’s resulted in a lot of low-scoring games. I think this game ends up being no different as the Penguins have turned it on defensively and MacKenzie Blackwood can keep the Devils in the game on his own. I could see a 3-1 or 3-2 game here, so give me the under in this one.
