Calgary is 1-5 in their last 6 games overall and 3-7 in their last 10 games as a road underdog while the under is 4-1-1 in their last 6 games overall. Edmonton is 6-0 in their last 6 home games and 19-9 in their last 28 games overall while the under is 7-2-1 in their last 10 games as a favorite. The over is 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.

I get why you could make a case for either side here, but realistically this is the old cliché about rivalries where you can throw records and trends out the window. But one thing you can see that repeats in history is that this isn’t your typical, traditional rivalry where it’s hard-nosed and physical and goals come at a premium. These Battle of Alberta games as normally high-scoring and I just don’t see a reason to deviate from that here. Give me the over.
