The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres meet in NHL action from the KeyBank Center on Saturday night.

The Pittsburgh Penguins come into this one looking to build on their 5-2 win over Buffalo from their last matchup. Sidney Crosby leads the Penguins in scoring with 25 points coming on 9 goals and 16 assists, sharing the lead in goals with Jake Guentzel who has 14 assists for his 23 points and Bryan Rust while sitting atop the mountain alone in terms of assists. The Buffalo Sabres will look to rebound from their loss to the Penguins last time out. I get why the plus money with Buffalo is worth a look as a home dog as the Sabres usually play their best at home. However, the Sabres are still a team in turmoil and are just trying to do as much damage control as possible if we’re being honest. Pittsburgh is a team I’ve bashed left and right, but the reality is the Penguins are starting to turn a corner and are back to looking like one of the NHL’s top teams. I have to side with the Penguins on the puck line here.
