Detroit is 17-57 in their last 74 games as an underdog and 12-46 in their last 58 games as a road underdog while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 Tuesday games. Columbus is 0-5 in their last 5 games overall and 0-8 in their last 8 Tuesday games while the over is 3-1-1 in their last 5 Tuesday games. Detroit is 6-21 in the last 27 meetings between these two teams.
I get why the plus money is tempting for the Red Wings as Columbus wasn’t overly convincing on the road last week. However, the Blue Jackets are still winning more often than not, while the one bit of consistency the Red Wings have dealt with lately is a consistent losing skid. Either way, I think the Blue Jackets have to be the play here and to get the price down, I’m going to back Columbus in regulation to pick up the win here.
