Mark Stone leads the Knights in scoring with 16 points including a team-high 12 assists while Max Pacioretty has 8 goals and 5 assists for his 13 points with a team-high 58 shots on goal. The Colorado Avalanche will look to keep the momentum going after their win over Vegas last time out. Nathan MacKinnon leads the Avs in scoring with 15 points including 3 goals and a team-high 12 assists with 49 shots on goal, also a team-high. Cale Makar has 11 assists as part of his 12 points while Mikko Rantanen’s got 11 points with 7 goals and 4 helpers. Brandon Saad and Joonas Donskoi each have 10 points with Saad putting up 6 goals and 4 assists and Donskoi logging 5 goals and 5 helpers. Vegas is 36-17 in their last 53 games overall and 7-1 in their last 8 Saturday games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. Colorado is 5-2 in their last 7 games overall and 12-4 in their last 16 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 Saturday games. The underdog is 7-0 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams.
It’s hard to call a lot of these outdoor games as the elements obviously play more of a factor in the game than a normal game inside of an arena. With that said, I’m going to still back the under here. These outdoor games are normally sloppy because of the surface and the puck tends to travel a lot slower and get stuck in behind the nets for longer periods of time. I can easily see a 2-1 or 3-2 game here whichever way you go, so give me the under in this one.
