Washington is 5-12 in their last 17 road games and 0-4 in their last 4 Sunday games while the over is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall. Pittsburgh is 6-0 in their last 6 games as a favorite and 149-69 in their last 218 home games while the over is 6-1-1 in their last 8 Sunday games. Washington is 2-5 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams.
I get why the Penguins are favored at home give that they’ve stepped up their play as of late and have had the Capitals’ number in recent meetings. However, I’m still not solid on the Pens as I think this is a Pittsburgh team that’s on the way out right now andI still don’t trust the goaltending in Pittsburgh. I’ll take a shot with the Capitals and the plus money here as I just trust what Washington’s doing a bit more than I do Pittsburgh.
