Minnesota is 11-3 in their last 14 road games and 2-5 in their last 7 games following a win while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Colorado is 4-0 in their last 4 Tuesday games and 49-22 in their last 71 games playing on 1 days rest while the over is 14-6 in their last 20 games overall. The over is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams in Colorado.
I get Colorado being favored here and while I have bashed the Wild a lot this season, I think this could be a prime value spot on Minnesota. Both of these teams have the same record when you combine regulation and extra time losses, and the Wild just beat the Avs on Sunday. This price is simply on name brand because of people thinking that the Avs are a cup contender. Evenly matched teams, but one’s getting over 1.5 times my money? Sign me up. I’ll take Minnesota and the plus money in this spot.
