New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins Prediction
I’ll stay with Miami. There’s not a lot to get excited about here, but it is a rivalry game that should be fairly close. The Dolphins are coming off a pretty tepid performance against Green Bay, giving up 388 yards (274 passing and 19 first downs along the way. The 10 penalties for 75 yards didn’t help matters, but Miami was buried after the first half. That said, the Dolphins had scored 34 points in both of their previous games. They’ve also hit 27 or more in four of the last six outings.
As for New York, nothing is going right this year as the team continues to find new and exciting ways to lose. This time it was, in part, the longest interception TD return by a defensive lineman in NFL history. The fourth quarter in the Seahawks game was a complete dud, and the Jets eventually mustered just 258 total yards (169 passing) with a pair of turnovers in the loss. New York hasn’t cracked 27 points all season, and their defense isn’t scaring anyone these days. I can’t trust the Jets to do anything cover-wise right now.
