Green Bay Packers Betting Preview
The Packers fell a bit short of their 11-6 run from 2024 last season, eventually finishing 9-7-1 overall. Green Bay landed in second place among the NFC North with that mark, their third straight non-losing season. After a playoff berth, the Packers were unfortunately eliminated by the rival Chicago Bears in a crazy Wild Card Playoffs matchup, falling 31-27 in the end.
In their opener versus the Vikings, the Packers were looking pretty good at halftime sporting a 19-10 lead. Green Bay eventually gave up 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter however, blowing the lead in a 39-22 loss. QB Jordan Love was 21-of-42 for 387 yards, two scores and an interception. Christian Watson had a great game with six catches for 147 yards and both TDs.
New York Jets Betting Preview
Over on the Jets’ side, they had yet another woeful run in 2025. New York failed to reach even the dismal lows of a 5-12 run from 2024, going just 3-14 for a basement-level finish in the AFC East. The Jets lost their first seven straight games before finally taking out the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. It was their sixth straight year with 10 losses or more.
Matched up against the Tennessee Titans last weekend, New York was up 20-3 by the end of the third quarter. The Jets ended up scoring points in every frame along the way to a solid road win 23-10. QB Geno Smith was 19-of-24 for 215 yards while Breece Hall posted 22 carries for 102 yards. Garrett Wilson added six catches for 79 yards in the victory effort for New York.

Packers vs Jets Prediction
I’ll stay with the Packers here. Green Bay had the game in hand last weekend but imploded in the fourth quarter for an embarrassing road loss. The Pack mustered just 66 rush yards and went 3-of-12 on third downs. The two turnovers and 12 penalties for 98 yards didn’t help matters either. This should be a much easier matchup; Green Bay just needs to clean up the mistakes.
As for the Jets, they got a good defensive effort in the Titans win. New York gave up just 195 yards (68 rushing), 11 first downs and 4-of-12 on third-down tries. As with so many other Jets teams however, the offense wasn’t super impressive. New York did notch 5.8 yards per play and avoided turnovers, but went an ugly 2-of-12 on third downs. The Jets are going to have to keep the score very low if they want to compete here.
