Denver Broncos Betting Preview

Packers vs Broncos Prediction

I’ll probably stick with the Broncos. That said, given how close they’ve been finishing this year it’s anyone’s guess. Denver eked out another one-score win Sunday versus the Raiders, thanks to a nice defensive effort on 229 yards, 4.8 yards per play, 16 first downs and 3-of-9 on third-down tries allowed. The Broncos offense had 27 first downs and 7-of-12 on third downs on the other side, along with a nice 39:03 in time of possession. Denver has scored pretty consistently over the last trio with 22 or more points in each game, but they’re still cutting it very close on the scoreboard—just like usual.

As for the Pack, they took care of a pretty good Bears team on Sunday with 337 yards, 6.5 yards per play and a very nice 8-of-12 on third downs offensively. The defense gave up just 177 pass yards on the other side with 21 first downs and 8-of-16 on third downs. That makes for straight wins for Green Bay, with 23 or more points scored in each. This will be a tough test for the Broncos.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Denver Broncos +2.5
