I’ll just stick with the Cowboys. Dallas got a much-needed win on Christmas day versus the Commanders, notching 480 total yards with 211 rush yards, 5.5 yards per play and 28 first downs. The Cowboys held Washington to just 1-of-6 on third-down tries but it was a pretty sloppy game with Dallas committing 11 of the total 21 penalties. The victory halts Dallas’ three-game slide and they’ve got another good shot at a win here.
These teams last met up way back on September 14 in a 40-37 overtime thriller home victory for Dallas. The Cowboys gave up a whopping 506 yards (422 passing) in that one, and it was another sloppy game with 12 Dallas penalties from 26 total flags. I’d like to think that the Cowboys will control this one a bit better, but it may well be another close game.
