Chicago Bears Betting Preview
The Bears kicked off their 2025 campaign with a loss to the Minnesota Vikings and another versus the Detroit Lions, but then hit their stride with wins over the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders and New Orleans Saints. Chicago would then fall to the Baltimore Ravens before a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. In the 47-42 shootout on the road versus Cincinnati, the Bears scored double-digit points in each of the last three quarters. Chicago ended up with 576 total yards, 7.6 yards per play, 30 first downs and 8-of-15 on third-down tries. The defense gave up 495 yards on the other side but also had three takeaways.
In their latest outing versus the New York Giants at home on Sunday, the Bears were down by a field goal heading into the second half, then got outscored 7-3 in the third. Chicago roared back on a 14-3 run from there however and took the comeback victory 24-20. QB Caleb Williams was 20-of-36 for 220 yards and a TD, while also scoring a rush touchdown. Bears vs Vikings Prediction
I’m going to take a stab on the Bears here. That said, this should be a pretty competitive and close game so you could call it either way. Chicago wasn’t able to tame the Giants until the fourth quarter last weekend, so the win wasn’t all that pretty—New York’s 10 penalties didn’t hurt either. The offense gained 391 total yards but also went just 3-of-11 on third-down tries. Defensively the Bears gave up 431 yards with 21 first downs and 5-of-14 on third downs. Chicago has scored 24 or more points in all of their wins this year, so it’ll be important for them to visit the scoreboard early and often in this one. Should be a fun game to watch.
