The Ravens won just 8 games last season and begin the Jesse Minter era. The Ravens haven’t missed the playoffs back-to-back seasons since 2017.
Lamar Jackson remains the engine of this Ravens offense and gives this team a fighting chance every week. Derrick Henry is still producing at a high level, and a receiving core that includes Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman is solid. The Ravens are physical and balanced offensively and should be above average this season. A defense that includes Roquan Smith, Kyle Hamilton, and Marlon Humphrey should be productive. On paper, the Ravens are as good as any team in the league, but that’s been the case for years. At some point this core has to get over the hump. Maybe a new voice at head coach helps.
Indianapolis Colts Betting Preview
The Colts haven’t made the playoffs since 2020 and enter year 4 under coach Shane Steichen. The Colts have made the playoffs just twice since 2015, which is a far cry from the Peyton Manning days.
Daniel Jones returns from a season-ending Achilles tear and hopes to build on what he had before the injury. Jonathan Taylor remains the workhorse, and the addition of Keenan Allen will take pressure off of Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, and Tyler Warren. The Colts could sneakily be a top-10 offense this season. Defensively, the Colts have a strong CB duo in Sauce Gardner and Charvarius Ward. There’s also a decent pass rush led by Laiatu Latu. The Colts should push for a playoff spot and could be a team that nobody wants to play due to the defense and ground game.

Baltimore Ravens vs Indianapolis Colts Prediction
I’m high on the Ravens this season, and they’re actually my pick to win the Super Bowl. The pieces are in place, and it’s kind of get it done or blow things up territory. So, I’m probably going to bet on the Ravens a lot this season. While guys are still trying to find a rhythm, this physical Ravens offense that pounds the ball should wear down this Colts defense. The under is worth a look given both offenses led by star running backs, but I simply trust the Ravens more overall. Don’t love the hook on a key number, but it’s still Ravens for me.
