Why Have the Seahawks Been Inconsistent?
The Seahawks have been one of the most inconsistent teams in all of the NFL and there has to be some major concern about which team is going to show up. Two games ago the Seahawks went on the road and were able to knock off the Falcons 34-14. In the last game against the Buffalo Bills it was awful though, and they ended up losing 31-10. Geno Smith completed 21 of his 29 passes for 212 yards, one interception and zero touchdowns. The big issue was he was also the top rusher and had only 16 yards.
The Seahawks on the season are averaging 23.75 points while their defense is giving up 24.38 points per game. The offense is ranked 13th in the league while the defense is ranked 19th in the NFL. DK Metcalf is dealing with a knee injury but they are hopeful he will be able to go in this game.
Rams Turning it Around
The Rams appear to be turning it around after the last couple of weeks, but a loss here would be devastating for their playoff chances. The Rams played last Thursday against the Minnesota Vikings and they were able to secure the 30-20 victory. Matthew Stafford had a huge game completing 25 of his 34 passes for 279 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Kyren Williams finished with 23 carries for 97 yards. Overall this season the Rams are averaging 20.6 points while their defense is giving up 24.9 points per game. The offense is ranked 23rd in the league while the defense is ranked 22nd. Kyren Williams is having a huge season and has rushed 139 times for 553 yards and eight touchdowns.
Why the Rams Will Beat the Seahawks
- The Rams have won each of their last eight games as favorites against the Seahawks.
- The Seahawks have lost each of their last five games against NFC West opponents on a winning streak.
- The Seahawks have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last eight games at Lumen Field before a Division game.
- The Rams have covered the spread in each of their last four road games against the Seahawks.
- The Seahawks have lost the first half in each of their last four games as home underdogs.
- The road team has won the first quarter in each of the Seahawks' last three games.
LA Rams vs Seattle Seahawks Prediction
The Rams are still looking for their first win of the season on the road, and they are going to pick it up here. Matthew Stafford finally has his weapons back out wide and he’s going to have a huge game here. I don’t trust the Seahawks defense and they are going to really struggle in a big way here. The Seahawks offense won’t keep up, and the Rams are going to come out on top. Back the Rams against the spread.
