Can Chiefs Three-Peat

Patrick Mahomes is already putting his name among the best quarterbacks ever, but with a three-peat, there would have to start to be some talk about the GOAT. For the offense, everything starts with Mahomes, and he is the most talented player in the league. The one thing Mahomes didn’t need was more weapons, but that’s exactly what he got. The team got Marquise Brown during free agency,  but he is hurt and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to go in this game. The team also picked Xavier Worthy in the draft and he’s a burner who should have a big role on this team. 

It’s not only just about the offense though, the defense is also ultra-talented. Chris Jones is one of the best defensive players in the league and he’s back for another year. Gay is gone and that is a big loss but Drue Tranquill should have an even bigger role this year. The Chefis also traded away L'Jarius Sneed during the offseason and that is a big loss for the production of the team, but there is a salary cap in football, and the Chiefs weren’t able to keep them all. In this game, a couple of turnovers early would help the chances. The Chefs will meet the Bengals after this game.

Good Early Test for the Ravens

The Ravens know to make it to the Super Bowl it’s probably going to include a game against the Chiefs, so this is a great early season test for the team. The Ravens offense is led by Lamar Jackson who is one of the best duel threat quarterbacks in football. The offensive line for the Ravens did suffer some losses. The team did make a big offseason signing at running back in Derrick Henry who the team hopes will be the same player he was with the Tennessee Titans. Zay Flowers is the top wide receiver, and the Ravens need him to have a huge year. 

On defense, the Ravens also had some departures, but they believe the defense is going to have a big year. Gone is Patrick Queen but in is Roquan Smith who will be the linebacker of the long term. In the secondary, the Ravens selected Nate Wiggins who should be an impact player right away. The secondary is going to need to have a big game to really let the Ravens have a chance in this game. The Ravens will face the Raiders following this one.

Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs Prediction

I am going to take the points here with the Ravens. Baltimore’s secondary is elite and their secondary is going to have a huge season and game here. The Chiefs are going to get their points, but so is Baltimore. Lamar Jackson is still one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and he’s going to have a huge game here. This is really a game I believe the Ravens can win outright, but we will take the points to be safe. Back the Ravens getting the points.
