The Carolina Panthers will travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans this weekend from Nissan Stadium on FOX. The Titans come in as 3.5-point favorites, with the total hovering 36.5 at the moment. Have a look at our Panthers vs Titans Prediction.
Carolina Panthers Preview
Carolina comes in at 1-9 after losing to Dallas in Charlotte, 33-10. The Panthers were unable to get anything going against the Cowboys, and they’ll look to avoid a fourth straight loss this weekend. The Carolina offense is scoring 16.3 ppg, while passing for 205.0 ypg, rushing for 92.3 ypg, and converting 39.3% of their third downs.
Carolina Player Props
• Bryce Young had a long day with the Dallas defense, going 16/29 for just 123 yards with a touchdown toss and a pick. The reigning number one overall pick hasn’t had much time to survey and operate during his first season, and it’s unclear if things will turn around any time soon. Young has passed for 1,683 yards with nine touchdowns to eight interceptions thru nine starts.
• Chuba Hubbard gained 65 yards in the loss to the Cowboys, and leads the Panthers in rushing with 408 yards on 104 carries.
• Adam Theilen has caught eight passes or more in four of the last six games, and he leads Carolina in receptions (76) and receiving yards (726).
• The Carolina defense has allowed 27.5 ppg.

Tennessee Titans Preview
Tennessee moved to 3-7 after falling to Jacksonville on the road, 34-14. The Titans struggled all throughout their three-game road trip, and they’ll seek different results here at home. The Tennessee offense is scoring 16.8 ppg, while passing for 206.0 ypg, rushing for 105.0 ypg, and converting 33.1% of their third downs.
Titans Player Props
• Will Levis played well statistically in the division loss to Jacksonville, going 13/17 for 158 yards and two scores. The former Kentucky quarterback has cooled after enjoying an eye-popping debut, but he’ll have a golden opportunity to get back into the win column this Sunday. Levis has passed for 158 yards, with six touchdowns to two interceptions thru four starts.
• Derrick Henry struggled in Tampa Bay and Jacksonville, and he leads the Titans in rushing with 663 yards on 158 touches.
• DeAndre Hopkins found the endzone for the fourth time versus the Jags, and he leads the Titans in receptions (42) and receiving yards (650).
• The Tennessee defense is allowing 21.4 points per game.
Carolina vs Tennessee Trends
• CAR is 1-7-2 against the spread, with a 3-7 O/U record.
• TEN is 4-6 ATS, with a 3-7 over/under record.
Corey’s Free Pick
Two rookie and former SEC quarterbacks will cross paths this weekend in Nashville, and this should serve as an opportunity for Tennessee to get back over the hump. The Titans are approaching a transition period, but they come into this bout in much better shape than their opponents, who simply haven’t been able to put their first-year signal caller in the right positions to succeed. Tennessee is still a Mike Vrabel-led team, and I like trusting that heading into this contest. Look for a heavy dosage of Derrick Henry in this one, and let’s back the Titans as hosts here. Also, with both ball clubs trending positive, and two relatively fresh faces behind center, the Under may be in play as well.
