The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders face off on Sunday in an NFL showdown at Allegiant Stadium. Check out our Chiefs vs Raiders Prediction.
How Do The Chiefs Bounce Back?
There is zero reason the Chiefs should have lost the last game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but their receivers continued to drop passes and that led to some of the struggles. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 24 of his 43 passes for 177 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The Chiefs on the season are averaging 22.5 points while their defense is giving up 16.4 points per game. The defense is ranked 3rd in the league which is a big surprise to many. As the season goes on the Chiefs need some of the receivers to step up and really become reliable for Mahomes.

Can Raiders Pull Off the Upset?
This is basically a must win for the Raiders if they want to stay in striking distance of the playoffs. In the last game against the Miami Dolphins the defense was good giving up only 20 points, but the offense only managed 13 points. Aidan O’Connell completed 24 of his 41 passes for 271 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. He is going to need to be better with the turnovers. The Raiders on the season are averaging 16.8 points while their defense is giving up 20.5 points per game. The defense will need to be good again, but if they want any chance they are going to need the offense to step up in a big way.

Shane’s Free Pick
The turnovers for O’Connell were a big issue and I expect it’s going to be a big issue again for him in this game against a better defense. I do expect the Raiders defense is going to step up again though. The weapons for Mahomes haven’t been stepping up and it’s going to really hurt them again in this game. It’s going to be a pretty ugly game that wll end up staying under the total.
