The Arizona Cardinals will travel and take on the Cleveland Browns this Sunday from Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Arizona Cardinals Preview
Arizona fell to 1-7 after losing to Baltimore at home by a touchdown, 31-24. The Cardinals were unable to complete the comeback, and they’ll now face an uphill battle on the road. The Arizona offense is scoring 17.3 ppg, while passing for 237.3 ypg, rushing for 126.3 ypg, and converting 38% of their third downs.
Cardinals Player Props
Kyler Murray’s return is near, but Clayton Tune is set to get the nod at quarterback this weekend. The rookie QB only attempted one pass last week, and he’ll be thrusted into a much bigger role this weekend.
Keaontay Ingram will likely lead the backfield this weekend, with Emari Demercado and James Conner set to miss this contest.
Marquise Brown scored against his former squad last weekend, and he leads ARZ in receptions (38) and receiving yards (416).
The Atlanta defense is allowing 20.1 points per game.
Cleveland Browns Preview
Cleveland moved to 4-3 after losing to Seattle on the road by four, 24-20. The Browns struggled to produce in the fourth, and they’ll look to bounce back here at home. The Cleveland offense is scoring 19.0 ppg, while passing for 198.2 ypg, rushing for 147.0 ypg, and converting 30.6% of their third downs.
Browns Player Props
Deshaun Watson is trending towards playing this weekend, and the Browns desperately need some production from the position. Watson has passed for 683 yards, with four touchdowns to three interceptions thru four games.
Jerome Ford is set to enter without any injury designation, and he leads the Browns in rushing with 381 yards on 87 touches.
Amari Cooper went for 89 yards in the loss to Seattle, and he leads Cleveland in receptions (30) and receiving yards (478).
The Cleveland defense has allowed 15.4 ppg.
Arizona vs Cleveland Trends
ARZ is 4-4 against the spread, with a 5-3 O/U record.
CLE is 3-3-1 ATS, with a 4-3 over/under record.
Corey’s Free Pick
Well Cleveland is set to get Deshaun Watson back and they get to face the worst team in the league at the Dawg Pound, so this is absolutely a game they should win. Losing to Seattle last weekend should also bring more focus, and I believe there’s no reason to expect an upset here. Arizona will indeed play hard for coach Jon Gannon, but this will be a steep test. The Under will be in play due to the defenses potentially dominating this one, but this is simply a game the Browns have to win. Back Cleveland at home this weekend.
