The Pittsburgh Steelers are 2-1 this season after they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 23-18 last week. Pittsburgh fell down 7-0 in the first quarter, but they scored the next 23 points and were able to hang on for the win. The Steelers were out gained by a total of 362-333, but did force three turnovers in the game. Pittsburgh was blown out in their game against San Francisco to open the season, but they bounced back with a win over Cleveland in Week 2. The Pittsburgh offense is scoring 18.7 points per game with 208.7 passing yards per game and 67 rushing yards per game this season. Kenny Pickett has thrown for 689 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions for the Steelers this year. Najee Harris has rushed for 139 yards, while George Pickens has caught 13 passes for 238 yards and one score. The Pittsburgh defense is allowing 23.3 points against per game this year and they have allowed over 400 yards per game. 

Texans Preview

The Houston Texans are 1-2 this season after they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars by a score of 37-17 in their last game. Houston led 17-0 at the half, but their lead was cut to seven in the third quarter, before they pulled away late. The Texans were out gained by a total of 404-366 and forced two turnovers in the win. Houston lost to Baltimore and Indianapolis to start the season, but they got a huge win last week against the Jaguars. The Houston offense is averaging 22 points per game with 271 passing yards per game and 70 rushing yards per game this year. C.J. Stroud has thrown for 906 yards and four touchdowns for the Texans this season. Dameon Pierce has rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown, while Nico Collins has caught 15 passes for 260 yards and one score. The Houston defense is giving up 24.3 points against per game this season.

The Texans come into this game with a 1-2 record, but they have played pretty well in two of the three games so far this year. Stroud is throwing for over 300 yards per game and hasn’t thrown an interception yet, so the rookie is playing very well. Pittsburgh has struggled when it comes to giving up yards, but has limited their opponents points in the last two games. I am not impressed with the Pittsburgh defense and I think Stroud is going to find success. I like the Texans with the points at home here.
