The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers face off in Week 2 of the NFL preseason at SoFI Stadium. There is a chance this game could be affected by Hurricane Hilary.
Can A.T. Perry Continue to Impress
There has been a lot of buzz surrounding this Saints team during the training camp, and one of those players receiving a lot of buzz has been A.T. Perry. Perry was selected in the 6th round, but he has made a strong case on why he should have a large role on this team. In the first game, Perry caught six passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. In the first game of the preseason the Saints were able to secure the 26-24 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Saints rookie Blake Grupe hit the game winning kick. Jameis Winston, Jake Haener, and Derek Carr all played at quarterback and all three played well.
Elijah Dotson Looks Impressive
There weren’t many who expected Elijah Dotson to make the roster coming out of training camp, but after his first game, there seems to be a chance. Dotson had a strong game in game one finishing with six carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns. In the first game against the Chargers were able to beat the Los Angeles Rams 34-17. Easton Stuck played the majority of the game completing 14 of his 21 passes for 109 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Max Duggan completed 2 of his 3 passes for 19 yards. The top wide receiver was Keelan Doss and he caught three passes for 39 yards.

Under is 5-2 in Chargers last 7 games overall. The over is 6-0 in the last six meetings played between the Chargers and Saints.
Shane’s Free Pick
Jake Haener looked really good in Game 1 for the Saints, and he’s going to continue that success here. The rest of the Saints offense is also going to have no issue running up the score. The Chargers offense scored 34 points in the first game, and they should also score plenty here. There won’t be a whole lot defense played by either team and this game is going to go over the total.
