Fields on the season has thrown for 2,167 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for 1,011 yards and eight touchdowns. Wide receiver Chase Claypool is dealing with a knee injury and is questionable for this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Lions who sit with a 7-8 record and they have gone 10-5 against the spread. The Lions were looking like they had a good shot to make the playoffs, until they lost to the Carolina Panthers in the last game. The defense really struggled giving up 37 points and that led to the 14 point defeat. The Lions are averaging 26.1 points while their defense is giving up 26.7 points per game. The defense is the worst in the NFL while the offense is ranked 5th. Jared Goff on the season has thrown for 3,959 yards, 26 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Wide receiver Quintez Cephus is dealing with a foot injury and is questionable for this game.

I don’t trust this Bears team. Fields has been playing better, but that still hasn’t resulted in wins for the Bears. The Lions are averaging 26.1 points per game and this Bears defense is going to really struggle here. The Lions are going to get over the season average and that will be enough to get the job done.
