The Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals face off on Sunday in an NFL showdown at Nissan Stadium. When these two teams faced off in January it was the Bengals that secured the 19-16 victory.
The Bengals sit with a 6-4 record overall and they have gone 7-3 against the spread. In the last game against the Pittsburgh Steelers the offense scored 37 points, and that led to the seven-point victory. Joe Burrow had a monster game completing 24 of his 39 passes for 355 yards and four touchdowns. Joe MIxon did suffer a concussion though and he’s already been ruled out for this game. The Bengals Samaje Perine stepped in to replace him and finished the game with three scores. The Bengals are averaging 26.5 points while their defense is giving up 21.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 3rd in the league.
On the other side of this matchup is the Titans who sit with a 7-3 record and they have gone 8-2 against the spread. Last Thursday against the Green Bay Packers the Titans scored 27 points, and won by 10 points. Ryan Tannehill completed 22 of his 27 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns. Derrick Henry is the star of this team though and he finished with 87 yards and a touchdown against the Packers. The Titans are averaging 19.3 points while their defense is giivng up 18.5 points per game. Derrick Henry has rushed for 1,010 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Titans are 8-0 in their last eight games overall. The under is 5-0 in the Titans last five games against the AFC. The under is 5-0 in Bengals last 5 vs. a team with a winning record.
Not having Joe Mixon is a really big loss for this Bengals squad. The Titans defense has been the star of the show giving up only 18.5 points per game and they are going to lockdown the Bengals offense here. Look for Henry to have another big game here, and the Titans are going to find a way to get it done here. Back the Titans against the spread.
