The Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans face off on Sunday in a key AFC game at Nissan Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2020 it was the Titans that secured the 16-14 victory.
The Broncos come into this game with a 3-5 record overall, and this is a must-win game for this team. In the last game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they had to make the comeback in the second half and were able to secure a 21-17 victory. Russell Wilson hasn’t been good enough this season, but in the last game, he completed 18 of his 30 passes for 252 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Broncos are averaging 15.1 points, while their defense is giving up 16.2 points per game. The offense hasn’t been good enough, but the defense is ranked second in the NFL.
On the other side of this matchup is the Tennessee Titans, who sit with a 5-3 record overall, and they have gone 6-2 against the spread. In the last game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the defense stepped up, but the offense didn’t do enough, and they were defeated 20-17. Under center for the Titans was Malik Willis, and he completed 5 of his 16 passes for 80 yards. Derrick Henry had a big game, rushing 17 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Ryan Tannehill has missed the last two games with an ankle sprain, and it’s unclear if he will be able to go in this game. Tennessee is averaging 18.6 points, while their defense is giving up 19.8 points per game.
The Titans are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games. The under is 6-0 in Denver’s last six games in November. The under is 5-0 in the Titan's last five games.
The trends point towards the under, and there will be trouble scoring for both teams here. Even if Ryan Tannehill is back, the Titans are going to really struggle to score against the Broncos defense. I also don’t trust Wilson to move the ball, and the Broncos' offense is going to have some major issues. Back the under to cash here.
