The 49ers only scored 14 points against the Atlanta Falcons, and that led to the 14-point defeat. Jimmy Garoppolo completed 29 of his 41 passes for 296 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. The 49ers defense has been good, but the offense has been an issue, averaging only 20.3 points per game. The team did make a big trade for Christian McCaffrey, and it’s expected he’s going to play in this game, although it’s unclear how many snaps they plan on letting him get.

This is the classic good offense against a good defense matchup. The 49ers defense has been good, but they showed some holes in the last game against the Falcons, and those issues are going to continue against a better offense with Kansas City.
