The Colts are integrating new quarterback Matt Ryan from Atlanta. He collected nearly 4000 passing yards with the Falcons last year. Ryan attempted 10 passes in the win last week. The Indianapolis Colts have a strong backup QB in Nick Foles.
Jonathan Taylor is the largest offensive threat for this team. The 23-year-old accumulated over 1800 yards in 2021. The depth at RB is amazing, including Nyheim Hines and Philip Lindsey. Michael Pittman Jr. is an elite receiver and the head of their core but they don't really have a ton of depth.
Last season the Indianapolis Colts averaged 347.1 yards on offense and 343.2 yards given up on defense.
The under is 4-0 in Lions last 4 Saturday games and is 5-1 in Colts last 6 Saturday games as well as 4-1 in Colts last 5 games on fieldturf.
The Lions are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf and are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Lions are also 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Lions should get the win here as the road team is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
