Cooper Rush and Ben DiNucci will battle for the backup job behind Dak Prescott. Last game, DiNucci went 9/16 for 112 yards and 1 touchdown. Cooper Rush only threw for 84 yards and he did commit a turnover.
The defense of the Cowboys did a decent job defensively throughout the game as they allowed 17 points on 5-of-13 third down attempts in the loss.
Last season the Dallas Cowboys averaged 407 yards on offense and 351 yards given up on defense.

Justin Herbert won't play but expect to see Easton Stick and Chase Daniel continue to battle for the backup QB job in this one. Last week, Stick went 16/23 for 119 yards in the loss. Chase Daniels threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the loss last week.
They surrendered 109 rushing yards to the Ram’s backup running backs so they will definitely look to improve on defense in this one. The Chargers will likely struggle again on defense as they won’t play their starters.

The Chargers are 20-41-1 ATS in their last 62 home games and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games. I see the Cowboys getting the win here as the Chargers will be super focused on the regular season.
