The Cleveland Browns will play host to AFC Rivals in the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday afternoon.
The Browns are coming off of a must win victory against the Ravens in their last game. Baker Mayfield completed 68% of his passes that game for two touchdowns to one interception.
Baker played nicely in his last game but is on the covid list for this matchup. Baker Mayfield has 2,603 passing yards this season for 13 touchdowns on 7 interceptions for the Browns. He has a QBR of 39.1.
The Browns offense averages 349.2 yards a game which is 16th in the league. They are scoring 21.4 points per game as they give up 321.2 yards and 22.2 points per game to their opponents.
The Raiders have now lost 5 of their last 6 games as they are no longer looking like the team from the beginning of the season that most had high hopes for. They were blown out by Mahomes and the Chiefs in their last contest. Carr went 33 for 45 in that game as he threw 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He was sacked 4 times.
Carr is putting together a resurgent season for the Raiders. He has thrown for 3,926 yards with 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the year. He has a QBR of 54.4.
The Raiders offense averages 372.5 yards a game which is 10th in the league. They are scoring 21.8 points per game as they give up 356.6 yards and 27.7 points per game to their opponents.
Without Baker, this game should be tough. The Browns need this one and likely want it more than the Raiders. But without their QB, I don’t think the Browns have enough to get it done. The Raiders are due for some success and this spot favors them. The Raiders are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Browns are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. AFC. The Browns are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. I’ll take the Raiders here to beat up on the Browns who are lacking their engine in Baker.
