Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens: 12/19/21 NFL Picks and Predictions
The Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens face off on Sunday in a Week 15 NFL showdown at M&T Bank Stadium. The last time these two teams faced off was in 2019 and the Ravens came away with the 26-13 victory.
The Green Bay Packers currently sit with a 10-3 record and they have gone 11-2 against the spread. Away from home, the Packers are 4-2 straight up. The Packers' last game was against the Chicago Bears and it wasn’t the easiest game, but the Packers were able to put up 45 points. The Packers are currently averaging 25.23 points while their defense is giving up 20.9 points per game. Aaron Rodgers is dealing with a toe injury, but he has made it clear that it won’t hold him out of games. Rodgers on the season has thrown for 3,219 yards, 27 touchdowns, and four interceptions. AJ Dillon has actually been the top rusher sitting with 614 yards and two touchdowns.
On the other side of this matchup is the Baltimore Ravens who sit with an 8-5 record and they have gone 6-7 against the spread. Even though they have played well, they have struggled a bit more as of late losing each of the last two games. In the last game against the Cleveland Browns they made a late comeback but it wasn’t enough as they were defeated by two points. The Ravens are averaging 23.9 points while their defense is giving up 21.9 points per game. Lamar Jackson has thrown for 2,882 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. He has been dynamic with his legs too, and he is going to need to find success with his legs in this game. Jackson is questionable for this game and if he can't go, that's a big loss for this team.
The Packers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games. The Ravens are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 games in December. The under is 7-3 in the Packers last 10 games overall. The over is 8-3 in the Ravens last 11 home games. The favorite is 4-0 in the last four meetings.
The Ravens have been really struggling to score coming into this game and it’s going to get any easier going against the Packers. Look for a big game from Aaron Rodgers, and the Packers are going to find success. Back the Packers against the spread.
