The Seattle Seahawks and Washington Football Team face off on Monday Night Football at FedEx Field. When these two teams faced off last year it was Seattle that won 20-15.
Seattle has had a terrible season and they have lost two games in a row coming into this one. In the last game, against the Arizona Cardinals, the offense struggled only scoring 13 points and that led to a 10 point defeat. The Seahawks are averaging 19.4 points while their defense is giving up 20.9 points per game. Russell Wilson has been banged up this season but he has thrown for 1,564 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions. One issue for this team, is they haven’t had much of a running game, and they are going to need to have a more balanced offense in this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Washington Football Team who sit with a 4-6 record overall and they have gone 3-7 against the spread. Even though Washington hasn’t had the most success, they have won two games in a row. In the last game against the Carolina Panthers, Washington came away with the 27-21 victory. Washington is averaging 21.2 points while their defense is giving up 26.7 points per game. Taylor Heinicke has been strong for Washington throwing for 21.2 points while their defense is giving up 26.7 points per game. In this game if Washington wants to come away with a victoryal they are going to need to find a way to put pressure on Wilson and make his life uncomfortable.
Washington is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games played in Week 12. The under is 5-0 in the Seahawks last five games in November. The under is 4-0 in the Football Team's last 4 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
The Seahawks offense hasn’t been great, and they are going to have all kinds of issues keeping this game close. I expect Washington’s offense is going to find success early in this game, and Seattle won’t have any answer. Back Washington against the spread.
