The Las Vegas Raiders will play host to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Allegiant Stadium in a Week 7 matchup.
The Raiders have had a solid start to the year at 4-2. Derrick Carr is playing some of his best ball as he has over 1,900 yards passing this season. TE Darren Waller is listed as questionable. If he plays, Carr will have access to one of his favorite targets as they’ve already connected 33 times for 378 yards. Defensively they’ve had some bright spots, mainly in the form of Maxx Crosby. He has 18 QB hits and 5 sacks on the year. Jalen Hurts will have to be wise when leaving the pocket.
Hurts did not find a rhythm at all in the last contest, only throwing for 115 yards against a higher powered Bucs offense. This season his biggest contribution to the team has been on the ground. He leads the Eagles with 53 carries for 300 yards and five TDs. The Eagles 3-3 ATS and have covered each of their last two matchups. One of which included a complete second half meltdown from the Panthers, a team not as strong as Vegas.
Even with Waller listed as questionable, the Raiders are the way better team. Defensively if they can limit Hurts as a rusher then they’ll have no trouble covering this spread.
