The Los Angeles Rams will travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants this Sunday afternoon in NFL action.

The Los Angeles Rams improved to 4-1 on the season after defeating the Seattle Seahawks, 26-17, on October 7th.  Los Angeles was solid on the offensive end against the Seahawks and was able to pull away after a 2-yard TD run by Sony Michel gave the Rams a 23-14 lead with 6:08 left in the 4th quarter. Los Angeles outgained Seattle by a 476-354 margin and won the turnover battle by a 2-1 margin. Leading the way for the Rams was WR Robert Woods who had 12 receptions for 150 yards.

On the season, Los Angeles is averaging 28.2 ppg on 415.4 total yards per game (317.4 passing yds/g; 98.0 rushing yds/g). Offensively, Los Angeles has been led by QB Matthew Stafford who has completed 68.0% of his passes for 1587 yards (320.2 passing yds/g), 12 TD, & 3 INT. The top receiving threats for the Rams have been Cooper Kupp (37 rec, 523 yards, 5 TD), Robert Woods (27 rec, 322 yards, 2 TD), Van Jefferson (14 rec, 242 yards, 2 TD), & DeSean Jackson (7 rec, 215 yards, TD). Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing their opponents to average 23.2 ppg on 411.4 total yards per game (294.2 passing yds/g; 117.2 rushing yds/g).

The New York Giants dropped to 1-4 on the season after being defeated by the Dallas Cowboys, 44-20, this past Sunday. New York was hit hard with injuries throughout the game, losing Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, & Kenny Golladay and could not fight back after a 13-yard Ezekiel Elliott gave the Cowboys a 34-13 lead with 7:34 left in the 4th quarter. New York was outgained by Dallas by a 515-367 margin and committed 2 turnovers in the loss. Leading the way for the Giants was WR Kadarius Toney who had 10 receptions for 189 yards.

On the season, New York is averaging 20.6 ppg on 391.4 total yards per game (295.6 passing yds/g; 95.8 rushing yds/g). Offensively, New York has been led by QB Daniel Jones who has completed 64.3% of his passes for 1282 yards (295.8 passing yds/g), 4 TD, & 1 INT. Jones also leads the Giants in rushing as he has 197 rushing yards & 2 TD’s on 30 carries. The leading receivers for the Giants have been Kenny Golladay (17 rec, 282 yards), Kadarius Toney (20 rec, 281 yards), Sterling Shepard (18 rec, 223 yards, TD), & Darius Slayton (7 rec, 127 yards, TD). Leading the way in the Giants backfield has been Saquon Barkley (54 att, 195 yards, 2 TD) & Devontae Booker (23 att, 64 yards, TD).

Defensively, New York is allowing their opponents to average 27.8 ppg on 418.8 total yards per game (280.4 passing yds/g; 138.4 rushing yds/g).

The Rams are 24-9-1 ATS in their last 34 games vs. NFC opponents and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game. The Giants are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games vs. NFC opponents, however, are just 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 home games.

New York has a bunch of injury concerns coming into this game as although Jones looks like he is on pace to play, both Barkley & Golladay are questionable and haven’t practice as of Thursday. Even if the Giants are healthy, they are going to struggle slowing down the Rams passing attack as the New York ranks just 22nd in pass defense and as I think the banged-up Giants struggle protecting Daniel Jones in this one, I’m taking the Rams to win this one by double-digits and cover this spread. Good Luck!
