The Buccaneers are coming off a Super Bowl victory, and they look like a team that could go back-to-back. After beating the Cowboys by two to start the season, the Bucs beat the Atlanta Falcons 48-25. Tom Brady is having another nice start to the season having thrown for 655 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions. One place the offense could really improve would be the running game. Leonard Fournette has been the top rusher so far this season, but he only has 84 yards. The Bucs defense also hasn’t been elite, giving up 27 points per game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Los Angeles Rams who beat the Bears 34-14 in the first game and followed that up with a 27-24 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Matthew Stafford looks like a perfect fit for the Rams and he has thrown for 599 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Running back Darrell Henderson Jr has also looked good this year rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, the Rams are giving up 19 points per game, and the defense is going to need to lock down. The Rams could win a shootout, but they need to try to make this a lower-scoring affair.
Tampa Bay is 4-0 against the spread in their last four games against teams with a winning record. The Rams are 22-8-1 against the spread in their last 31 games against the AFC. Tampa Bay is 1-7 against the spread in their last eight meetings against the Rams. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings played between the two teams.
