Baltimore Ravens at Washington Football Team: 8/28/21 NFL Picks and Prediction
The Baltimore Ravens and Washington Football Team face off on Saturday In Week 3 of the NFL preseason at FedEx Field. .
At some point, it seems the Baltimore Ravens preseason streak will end, but it hasn’t happened yet. Coming into this game the Ravens have won 19 straight pre-season games. In the first game of the preseason, the Ravens beat the Saints 17-14 and in the last game, the Ravens were able to win 20-3 over the Carolina Panthers. Tyler Huntley got all the playing time in the last game at quarterback for the Ravens completing 24 of his 34 passes for 187 yards, zero touchdowns, and an interception. Running back Nate McCrary had a big game on the ground rushing 15 times for 64 yards and a touchdown. More impressive though for the Ravens was the defense, and that is something that will be key in this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Washington Football Team who opened up their preseason with a loss against the New England Patriots, before beating the Cincinnati Bengals in their last game. It took eight points in the 4th quarter, but they were able to win by four points. It seems the quarterback position looks to be figured out for this team with Ryan Fitzpatrick starting and Taylor Heinicke being in the backup role. With that being all but decided, it’s unclear how Washington will handle it’s quarterback situation in this game.
The Ravens are 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games. The Washington Football team is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games overall. The under is 6-1 in the Ravens last seven games overall. The under is 5-1 in Washington Football Team’s last six games overall.
The Ravens clearly take these preseason games seriously, and there is no reason to bet against them in this game. Look for the Ravens to have success with their defense again, and the Ravens will win and cover the spread.
