D’Andre Swift, running back out of Georgia, is coming off back to back 1,000 yard seasons in the always tough SEC. Swift has odds of -130 for being drafted after the 1st round. He has a -110 odds to be picked in the first round. Swift has the athleticism to come in and make an impact right away for an NFL organization.
College Career: Swift rushed for 1,218 yards and 7 touchdowns during the 2019 season, averaging 6.2 yards per rush. The running back rushed for 20 touchdowns during his career at Georgia. He never averaged less than 6.2 yards per rush attempt during his 3 season average.
Pros/Cons: All eyes were on Swift when he was on the field, as fans knew he had the chance to do something special when he had the ball. Swift is an aggressive runner and can carry tacklers for an extra yard. He is solid in the open field and after having back to back 1,000 yard seasons, consistency is there. He doesn’t have a whole lot of weaknesses, but staying healthy for a full NFL season is always an area of concern for first year running backs, trying to make the transition.

Over 32.5 -130: Swift’s dynamic style of rushing can lead to an immediate impact for an organization. Swift is slated to have the best odds for the draft to be the first running back taken, while Jonathan Taylor is right there as well. The Georgia running back will be following the likes of other Georgia running backs, like Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel. The mention of Gurley brings the Los Angeles Rams to mind. The Rams have Malcom Brown and Darrell Henderson Jr., but Swift would be an upgrade. With Gurley being released and now on the Falcons, Swift could be a nice addition for the Rams and be worth a 2nd round pick, if available. With Swift being one of the best running backs in the draft, I’m going to lean towards a first round pick here.
Under 32.5 -110: The Jaguars have been rumored to be looking to trade Leonard Fournette and if that is the case, the Jaguars could snag Swift with the 20th pick in the 1st round, since it would be unlikely the Jaguars would take him with their 9th pick. With not many running backs being taken in the 1st round over that 10 years, the odds are in a spot where this could go either way. The Chiefs have used a mixture of talent at running back over the last handful of years. Kansas City could be a possible landing spot for the Georgia running back. I'm going to side with the under here, as a team should pull a trigger near the end middle to end of the 1st round on this talented running back.
