The New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans meet Sunday in week 16 NFL action at Nissan Stadium.
The New Orleans Saints look for another win after winning four of their last five games. The New Orleans Saints have won their last five road games. Drew Brees is completing 75.8 percent of his passes for 2,447 yards, 21 touchdowns and four interceptions. Brees and Teddy Bridgewater have combined for 30 touchdown passes and six interceptions. Michael Thomas and Jared Cook have combined for 2,129 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns while Alvin Kamara has 73 receptions. The New Orleans Saints ground game is averaging 108.6 yards per contest, and Kamara leads the way with 678 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, New Orleans is allowing 21.6 points and 328.8 yards per game. Demario Davis leads the New Orleans Saints with 98 tackles, Cameron Jordan has 13.5 sacks and Marcus Williams has four interceptions.
The Tennessee Titans look for a win after winning six of their last eight games. The Tennessee Titans have won four of their last five home games. Ryan Tannehill is completing 71.5 percent of his passes for 2,272 yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions. Tannehill and Marcus Mariota have combined for 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Defensively, Tennessee is allowing 19.9 points and 362.4 yards per game. Logan Ryan leads the Tennessee Titans with 102 tackles, Harold Landry III has nine sacks and Kevin Byard has four interceptions.
The Saints are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games as a road favorite, 25-8 ATS in their last 33 road games and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Titans are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a home underdog and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The under is 9-4 in Saints last 13 road games. The over is 7-1 in Titans last 8 games overall.
The New Orleans Saints have found their offense since their bye week, but they've feasted on a subpar schedule for the most part and have played just two road games since week 8. The Tennessee Titans are coming off a close loss to the Houston Texans and haven't lost back-to-back games since week 5-6. The New Orleans Saints are the better team on paper, but the Titans have probably been more impressive over the last month or so and they have a physicality on both sides of the ball that could give the Saints some trouble. I also don't exactly trust the New Orleans Saints on the road against good teams, as they can be a different team out of that dome. I'm leaning toward the Titans and the free points.
