The Line: Indianapolis Colts -2.5 -- Over/Under: 43.5
The Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts meet in NFL action from Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.
The Titans come in at 6-5 overall. Tennessee is 4-1 over their last five, falling to the Panthers but taking out the Chargers, Bucs, Chiefs and Jaguars during that stretch.
In the win over the Jags, Titans QB Ryan Tannehill posted 259 yards and two TDs, and Derrick Henry led the rush on 159 yards and two scores. AJ Brown had 135 yards and a score off four grabs there.
Over on the Colts’ side, they’re 6-5 this year. Indianapolis is 1-3 in their last four games, taking out the Jaguars while losing to the Steelers, Dolphins and Texans during that span.
In the loss to the Texans, Colts QB Jacoby Brissett put up 129 yards, and Eric Ebron caught four balls for 44 yards. Jonathan Williams led the rush on 104 yards with a TD there.
The Titans are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five overall and 23-50-5 ATS in their last 78 versus the AFC. Tennessee is 6-16 ATS in their last 22 on turf and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six in Week 13.
Meanwhile, the Colts are 7-0 ATS in their last seven versus the AFC South and 18-7-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record. Indy is 5-2 ATS in their last seven in December and 40-19 ATS in their last 59 after a straight-up loss.
The Titans’ last five games have been quite successful overall, but they’ve certainly made things interesting. Three of Tennessee’s last four wins have come by four points or fewer. The Jaguars win was pretty solid all around, though, 42-20.
As for the Colts, they’ve been pretty uninspiring lately, especially on offense. Indy has fewer than 20 points in four of their last seven outings. This should be a pretty fun matchup, but I like the Titans to get in there and cover.
