The Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off in week 10 NFL action.
Arizona comes in here at 3-5-1 thus far. After an opening-week tie against the Lions, the Cardinals have beaten the Bengals, Falcons and Giants, but fallen to the Ravens, Panthers, Seahawks, Saints and 49ers otherwise.
In the loss to the 49ers, Arizona QB Kyler Murray had 241 yards with two scores, and Kenyan Drake managed 110 yards and a TD. Andy Isabella’s 88-yard touchdown catch put him atop the receivers for that game.
Over on the Bucs’ side, they’re 2-6 so far. Tampa Bay has beaten the Panthers and Rams, but fallen to the Giants, 49ers, Saints, Panthers, Titans and Seahawks this season.
In the loss to the Seahawks, Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston posted 335 yards and two scores, while Ronald Jones had 67 yards and a TD. Mike Evans went off for 180 yards and a TD on 12 receptions in that one.
The Cardinals are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. Arizona is 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 in November and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five in Week 10.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games in Week 10 and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. Tampa Bay is 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the NFC and 0-4 ATS in their last four overall.
Give Arizona some credit for hanging with the undefeated 49ers in a game no one gave them any chance of winning. Though they’re not a good team right now, the Cardinals don’t seem like they’re too far away from gaining some relevance in the league.
Tampa can score, but their defense is suspect to put it mildly. the Bucs have coughed up at least 27 points in each of their last six outings, which could spell trouble in Tampa. I’m going to go with the Cardinals in this game. Should be a fun matchup, really.
