The Carolina Panthers and the Green Bay Packers meet in week 10 NFL action from Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Carolina Panthers will look to build on a 30-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their last outing. Kyle Allen has thrown for 1,291 yards, 9 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 60.7% passing while Christian McCaffrey leads the Panthers with 881 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns this season. D.J. Moore leads the Panthers in receiving with 45 catches for 564 yards while Curtis Samuel has 407 receiving yards and 3 TDs and the aforementioned McCaffrey has 42 grabs out of the backfield for 363 yards and 3 touchdowns. Defensively, Luke Kuechly leads the Panthers with 78 total tackles including 44 solo tackles while Shaq Thompson has 69 total tackles with a team-high 48 solo tackles. Mario Addison leads Carolina with 6.5 sacks and Brian Burns has 4.5 sacks for Carolina this year. As a team, Carolina is averaging 339.8 yards of total offense and 26.1 points per game while allowing 360.4 yards of total defense and 25.5 points per game against this season.

The Green Bay Packers will look to rebound after a bad 26-11 road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in their last outing, falling to 7-2 on the year. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 2,485 yards, 17 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 65.4% passing while Aaron Jones leads Green Bay in rushing with 496 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns and Jamaal Williams has added 228 rushing yards as well this year. Marquez Valdes-Scantling leads the Packers in receiving with 420 receiving yards while Davante Adams is right behind with 419 receiving yards and the previously mentioned Jones has 35 receptions for 354 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jimmy Graham has 251 receiving yards and 3 scores while Geronimo Allison has 205 receiving yards and Jamaal Williams has 5 receiving touchdowns as well out of the Packers’ backfield. Defensively, Blake Martinez leads the Packers with 95 total tackles, including a team-high 57 solo tackles while Za’Darius Smith has 8.5 sacks and Preston Smith is right behind with 8 sacks. Kevin King also has 3 interceptions for the Packers this season. As a team, Green Bay is averaging 352.4 yards of total offense and 25.1 points per game while allowing 382.9 yards of total defense and 21 points per game against this season.

Carolina is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the over is 16-5 in their last 21 games following a win. Green Bay is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record and 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 games against the NFC while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 games overall. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two teams.

The points with the Panthers could be worth a look now that the Panthers can focus on Kyle Allen at QB with Cam Newton going on IR and not having to wonder if he’s going to come back this season. The issue I have is that Carolina’s two road wins came against Arizona when the Cardinals were struggling and a Tampa Bay team that can’t help but give up the ball while losing in blowout fashion to the 49ers. Green Bay has had their ups and downs, but Lambeau Field is known for being one of the tougher and more intimidating road environments to go on the road and play in, and Green Bay has been tough to take down at home period where they’re most comfortable. I’ll lay the points with the Packers in this spot as I see Green Bay winning by a touchdown somewhere in the 31-24 range.
