The Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers will meet up on the NFL circuit Sunday.
The Colts enter this one at 5-2 so far. Indianapolis has fallen to the Chargers and Raiders but otherwise beaten the Titans, Falcons, Chiefs, Texans and Broncos.
In the win over the Broncos, Colts QB Jacoby Brissett passed for 202 yards, and Marlon Mack added 76 rush yards with a TD. Jack Doyle was the lead receiver there with 61 yards from four catches.
Over on the Steelers’ side, they’re 3-4 this season. Pittsburgh has fallen to the Patriots, Seahawks, 49ers and Ravens but secured wins over the Bengals, Chargers and Dolphins.
In the win over the Dolphins, Pittsburgh was down early but came back thanks to 251 yards and two TDs from Mason Rudolph, and 145 yards and a score from James Conner. JuJu Smith-Schuster added 103 yards and a score of his own on six catches.
The Colts are 6-0 ATS in their last six in Week 9 and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven road games. Indianapolis is 11-3-1 ATS in their last 15 in November and 4-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss.
Meanwhile, the Steelers are 5-2 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games versus a team with a winning road record. The over is 5-1 in the last six meetings of these teams in Pittsburgh and the home tea is 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings.
The Colts’ win over Denver was one of the more dramatic victories you’ll see this year, and that gives Indy a three-game win streak. The Colts defense has played well during that stretch, but offensively they’ve failed to hit 20 points in two of those three outings.
As for Pittsburgh, they’ve been pretty inconsistent in most facets this season, but on the whole they’re scoring pretty well. I like the Colts to make a game out of this and manage a cover but it’s something of a coin-flip game.
