The Indiana Pacers play host to the Phoenix Suns at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday night.

Phoenix Suns Betting Preview

The Phoenix Suns have been on a nice run lately as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after routing the Bucks in a 129-114 road win on Tuesday. Devin Booker led the team with 27 points and seven assists, Jalen Green added 25 points with five assists while Royce O’Neale chipped in with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Suns shot 54 percent from the field and a sizzling 24 of 51 from the 3-point line which are impressive numbers, but the Suns actually didn’t take control of the game until the fourth quarter where they restricted the Bucks to just 17 points to allow them to pull away.

Indiana Pacers Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 14 of their last 16 games overall and they are now on a 10-game losing streak after falling short to the struggling Kings in a 114-109 road defeat on Tuesday. Aaron Nesmith led the team with 29 points on 10 of 22 shooting, Obi Toppin added 17 points while Kam Jones chipped in with 14 points and nine assists. As a team, the Pacers shot just 41 percent from the field and 13 of 43 from the 3-point line as they got off to a great start and dominated the second quarter by 34-18 to open up a 20-point lead, but they allowed the Kings to hang around and it cost them in the fourth quarter where they leaked 42 points to fall short once again. Quenton Jackson had a rough night as he shot just one of eight from the field to finish with just four points off the bench while Jarace Walker shot three of 10 for his eight points and four turnovers.

Phoenix v Indiana Free Prediction

The Suns have ruled out Mark Williams and Dillon Brooks again with Haywood Highsmith, Jordan Goodwin and Grayson Allen all listed as questionable, while the Pacers have ruled out Pascal Siakam with Andrew Nembhard, TJ McConnell, Aaron Nesmith and Ivica Zubac all questionable. The injury cloud hanging over the Suns’ Allen makes things a bit tricky as he has been crucial for the Suns lately, but even if he doesn’t suit up, the Suns really should be good enough to run past the slumping Pacers squad who hit a new low with a loss to the Kings on Tuesday.

Peter Tran's Pick: Phoenix -8.5
