Orlando Magic Betting Preview
The Orlando Magic have been on a tear as they’ve won 10 of their last 13 games and they will be eager to keep it going after sneaking past the Heat in a thrilling 106-105 home win on Friday. Franz Wagner led the team with 32 points on 12 of 22 shooting, Jalen Suggs added 22 points with five assists on nine of 19 shooting while Anthony Black chipped in with 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists off the bench. As a team, the Magic shot just 41 percent from the field and 12 of 34 from the 3-point line, but they did most of their damage in the third quarter where they outscored the Heat by 30-19 to take a 10-point lead which was just enough to hold off a late rally from the Heat who had a shot to steal the game at the buzzer.
New York Knicks Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in great form as they’ve won six of their past seven games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the Jazz in a 146-112 home win on Friday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 33 points on nine of 17 shooting, Miles McBride provided the spark off the bench with 22 points on seven of 11 shooting while Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 18 points with nine rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Timberwolves shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and 21 of 42 from the 3-point line as they dominated right from the tipoff, opening the game with a ferocious 23-0 run, before they poured in another 47 points in the third quarter to put the game to bed early with a 41-point lead.
Orlando v New York Free Prediction
The Magic are still missing Moritz Wagner while the Knicks have ruled out Landry Shamet and they are keeping an eye on Karl-Anthony Towns who is questionable with left calf tightness. The Magic are as healthy as they’ve been all season, they are playing great basketball and they are coming into this one fresh off a nice win over the Heat, but it’s the Knicks who open as favorites at home especially following their massive win on Friday. The line could change if Towns is able to suit up for the Knicks, but I’m expecting a close contest so I am leaning towards the Magic and the points in this spot.
