The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Washington Wizards duke it out at the Capital One Arena on Saturday night. Here’s an Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Washington Wizards Prediction. This article will include an Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Washington Wizards Pick.

Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Preview

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been on fire, as they’ve won 13 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to build on their current 10-game win streak after running past the Nets in a 121-92 road win on Wednesday. Jared McCain led the team with 26 points on nine of 16 shooting off the bench, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 20 points with six assists on eight of nine shooting, while Aaron Wiggins chipped in with 17 points.

As a team, the Thunder shot 53 percent from the field and 14 of 35 from the 3-point line as they overwhelmed the shorthanded Nets from the very start and were always in full control after outscoring the Nets by an incredible 60-24 in the first half.

Washington Wizards Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been ice-cold, as they’ve lost 17 of their last 19 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a 14-game losing streak after getting trampled by the Pistons in a 117-95 loss on Thursday. Tristan Vukcevic led the team with 21 points on seven of eight shooting off the bench. Will Riley added 15 points, while Sharife Cooper chipped in with 13 points on six of eight shooting.

As a team, the Wizards shot 44 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the 3-point line as they poured in 38 points in the second quarter to cut an early 25-point deficit to just seven points, before they went cold and scored just 17 points in the fourth quarter to get blown out in the end.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Washington Wizards Prediction

The Thunder have ruled out Branden Carlson and Jalen Williams again, while the Wizards are still missing Kyshawn George, Anthony Davis, Trae Young and Cam Whitmore, with Tre Johnson listed as questionable. These two teams have already clashed once this season, with the Thunder beating the Wizards by 127-108 back at the start of the season.

The Thunder were always going to open as heavy favorites in this matchup but this is one that makes you stop for a second. The Wizards can still get the backdoor cover even if they get off to a terrible start, but I just don’t think they will be able to score much more than 90 points in this matchup. There’s always a chance that the Thunder pull their starters early and allow the Wizards to hang around at the end, but I think we’re about to see another old-fashioned blowout in this spot.

Peter Tran's Pick: Oklahoma City -21.5
