The Denver Nuggets and the Indiana Pacers collide at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Saturday night.
Denver Nuggets Betting Preview
The Denver Nuggets are starting to heat up as they have now won three of their past four games after running past the Raptors in a 128-109 home win on Wednesday. Nikola Jokic led the way with a triple-double of 32 points with 10 rebounds and 11 assists on 13 of 19 shooting, Bryce Hopkins provided the spark off the bench with 18 points on six of seven shooting while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 17 points on seven of nine shooting. As a team, the Nuggets shot a sizzling 62 percent from the field and nine of 23 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Raptors in a shootout of a first half, before the Nuggets dominated the third quarter by 41-15 to lead by as many as 27 points.
Indiana Pacers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have yet to get going this season as they’ve lost six of their first nine games, but they will be feeling much better after they snapped a five-game losing streak with a 107-103 road win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday. Andrew Nembhard led the team with 22 points and four assists on eight of 15 shooting, Pascal Siakam added 20 points on eight of 13 shooting while Aaron Nesmith chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 37 from the 3-point line as they trailed the Grizzlies midway through the fourth quarter before they closed the final 5:58 on a 21-12 run to secure the much needed victory. Ivica Zubac had a quiet game as he scored just one point on zero of five shooting.
Denver v Indiana Free Prediction
The Nuggets are still missing Julian Strawther while the Pacers have ruled out Tyrese Haliburton and Ben Sheppard with TJ McConnell and Kelly Oubre Jr both listed as questionable.
The Nuggets haven’t been playing anywhere near their best to start the season, but they’re still finding ways to win and they don’t have any key injuries to worry about which is more than you can say about the banged up Pacers who were ice-cold before their upset win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday. The Nuggets have won four of the last five meetings between these teams and I expect that trend to continue here. The Nuggets have yet to hit their stride, but I think they cruise to another comfortable win here behind another triple-double from Jokic in this matchup.
