The New York Knicks have been doing it tough lately as they’ve lost nine of their last 12 games overall, but they will be feeling a little better after they snapped an ugly four-game skid with a dominant 120-66 win over the slumping Nets on Wednesday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 20 points and five assists on eight of 17 shooting, Landry Shamet added 18 points off the bench while Miles McBride and Karl-Anthony Towns each scored 14 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 57 percent from the field and 16 of 32 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 38 points in the first quarter to take an immediate double-digit lead, before they clamped down defensively to limit the Nets to just 28 points in the entire second half.
Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in pretty good form as they’ve won eight of their last 14 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after sneaking past the Rockets in a 128-122 overtime win on Thursday. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 36 points and 10 assists on 15 of 28 shooting, Joel Embiid racked up a triple-double of 32 points with 15 rebounds and 10 assists while Kelly Oubre Jr chipped in with 26 points on 10 of 14 shooting. As a team, the 76ers shot 55 percent from the field and 11 of 32 from the 3-point line as they squandered a nine-point lead and missed out on a chance to win the game at the end of the fourth quarter, but they made up for it in overtime where they held the Rockets to just seven points to secure the gritty win at home.

The Knicks could be shorthanded for this one with Karl-Anthony Towns listed as questionable, while the 76ers are expecting to have a full squad with Joel Embiid and Paul George listed as probable for this meeting. The Knicks haven’t been playing anywhere near their best lately, but they were able to earn a much-needed blowout win in their last outing and they’ve already beaten the 76ers twice this season. A fully healthy 76ers team at home is certainly tempting, but I think the Knicks worked some things out during the players meeting and I am backing them to secure another win in this spot.
