New York Knicks Betting Preview
The New York Knicks have been in pretty good form as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after running past the lowly Nets in a 113-100 road win on Monday. Karl-Anthony Towns led the team with 37 points and 12 rebounds on 14 of 20 shooting, Jalen Brunson added 27 points on 10 of 19 shooting while Mikal Bridges chipped in with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Knicks shot 51 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they worked hard just to take a narrow lead into halftime, before they took control with 38 points in the third quarter to extend the lead to 19 points at one stage.

Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have really struggled to get anything going this season and they are now on a six-game losing streak after falling just short to the Hawks in a 113-110 road defeat on Sunday. Kon Knueppel drained seven 3-pointers to lead the team with 28 points on nine of 17 shooting, Collin Sexton added 22 points on eight of 16 shooting while Miles Bridges chipped in with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Hornets shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 44 from the 3-point line as they took their best shots from the Hawks in a tight game and looked comfortable with a lead late in the fourth quarter, before the Hawks closed the final 2:14 on a 6-0 run to snatch the game away.

The Knicks are still missing a couple players with OG Anunoby and Landry Shamet both out, while the Hornets have ruled out Pat Connaughton, Josh Green and Grant Williams. The Knicks have been building nicely over the past couple weeks, they are relatively healthy and they will be eager to keep it going after a big win in their last outing. In contrast, the Hornets have continued their downward spiral this season and are now losers of six straight after losing to the Hawks on Sunday despite a big game from Knueppel who has been a bright spot for the Hornets. The Hornets were a little unlucky not to get the job done in their last game, but I still can’t back them against the Knicks unless we were getting more points. With the line reasonably short, I will stick with the Knicks to get the win and cover on the road.
