The Milwaukee Bucks invade the Capital One Arena to take on the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.

Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in a major slump as they’ve dropped six of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game slide after getting trounced by the 76ers in a 139-122 defeat on Tuesday. Myles Turner led the team in scoring with 31 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Ryan Rollins added 24 points with eight rebounds and four assists while Bobby Portis and Kyle Kuzma each scored 17 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 51 percent from the field and 15 of 34 from the 3-point line which are solid shooting numbers, but they had no answer for the 76ers on the defensive end and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing 42 points in the first quarter.

Washington Wizards Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been ice-cold lately as they were on a nine-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a 115-111 win over the Trail Blazers on Tuesday. Alex Sarr had a sensational game as he led the team with 29 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks, Khris Middleton and Kyshawn George each scored 19 points while Tre Johnson chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Wizards shot just 41 percent from the field and 17 of 39 from the 3-point line as they poured in 34 points in the second quarter to take an 11-point lead, but they allowed the Trail Blazers back into the contest and looked to be in trouble until they closed the final 9:45 of the fourth quarter on a 29-19 run.

Milwaukee v Washington Free Prediction

The Bucks are still missing Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr, while the Wizards have ruled out Tristan Vukcevic, Trae Young, Marvin Bagley III and Cam Whitmore with Alex Sarr listed as questionable. The Bucks have been dealing with swirling trade rumours all season and their lack of form really isn’t do much to keep Antetkounmpo from signing with another team, but they still have more than enough firepower to get a win here, especially if the Wizards are without Sarr who is coming off his best game of the season. The Wizards were ice-cold before their win on Tuesday, so it’s hard to trust them, but the Bucks are a mess right now and I think a loss to the Wizards seems fitting at this time.

Peter Tran's Pick: Washington +1.5
